DON'T HAVE A SMARTPHONE?

Internet-Capable Phone
If your phone doesn't support apps, but is internet-capable, bookmark your E-mergency website and carry the Alert Card that tells EMTs how to get to your PMI site.

Regular Cell or No Phone
E-mergency still protects you and your family. Your Alert Card directs them to your PMI website either on their laptops or smartphones. E-mergency will still notify your contacts.

Step 2 - Set Up Your Account

FILL IN YOUR INFORMATION

On your PMI website follow the prompts to fill in your medical information - you can do this on your phone or computer. To ensure accuracy, we recommend that you do this with your doctor.

Print out your E-mergency "Alert Cards". This card tells EMTs that your medical information is on your phone or personal E-mergency website.

SET UP YOUR PHONE APP

Enter the "token" code we provide - your phone will automatically set up your accounts.

Upload photos of account members to your E-mergency app on your phone, and each of your members' phones.

Your app and Personal Medical Information (PMI) website are now linked.

SET UP YOUR CONTACTS

Set up your contacts that you will want E-mergency to automatically notify in the event of an emergency.

Be sure to discuss this with your contacts beforehand.

Step 3 - Test Your Application With Friends and Family

TEST YOUR SYSTEM

If you have an internet-enabled phone, you can send a test message from your PMI site, using the Add Destination text box be sure to alert your contacts first.

If you don't have a smartphone, press TEST on your PMI website.

E-mergency will send a special test message to all of your contacts. This is a SMS (text) message on their phones and/or an email message.

If you have a GPS-enabled phone, your location will be included. E-mergency will continue to follow your phone to provide the location of the medical facility you have been taken to.

YOU'RE IN CONTROL

As the Admistrator of your account, you can add or delete members, and make changes to your PMI or contacts list at any time, on either your smartphone or computer.
